Each piece is cut by
hand one at a time, has simple strong lines and dimension that becomes enriched
by the process of heat coloring. This exacting process is done using a
torch to pull out the rich colors and tones from the copper and this can never
be repeated exactly so each and every piece is different and special. With
this hand highlighting we are able to simulate muscle tones, movement, surface
texture and color bringing the animal to life.
Care
Each piece is coated with clear polyurethane to keep the colors from changing.
To clean, dust or rinse with water, use a soft cloth to dry. Never apply
chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Product Lines
These copper sculptures depict dozens of animals from all over the world,
including: baboons, bears, buffalos, camels, cheetahs, eagles, elephants,
flamingoes, foxes, frogs, goldfish, horses, giraffes, iguanas, llamas, lions,
rabbits, mice, moose, penguins, rhinos, squirrels, trout, wolves, and zebras.
Fantasy creatures such as unicorns and Pegasus are also available, as are angel
figures.
There is also an amazing variety of dog breeds including most of the AKA
breeds: Airedale,
Basset hound, Bernese Mountain Dog, Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
Corgi, Great Dane, Greyhound, Jack Russell, Labrador, Schnauzer, Poodle, Pug,
Rottweiler, Sheltie, English Springer Spaniel, Viszla ... in fact,
over 100 breeds are available. For cat lovers, domestic cats are shown in all
their fascinating activities, such as running, napping, stretching, washing,
hissing, investigating and leaping. Tabbies, Siamese and Persians and domestic
shorthairs are available |
