Customers - All Terre `e Provence/ Souleo Stoneware is individually hand made & decorated. The Decor patterns have an "Over Glaze", where additional colors are applied over the first glaze coat. You will not find this technique elsewhere. Consequently, no two are exactly alike. This is the hallmark of craftsmanship and uniqueness. Please call to order these exquisite pieces of art for your table or as a wonderful gift. NOTE: Due to the nature of the artistic methods of making this pottery, crazing becomes a very common occurrence in this pottery, it is NOT an imperfection and does not affect the performance of the piece.

Otherwise it WILL VARY in size, shadings, amount of decoration & details - each is unique and special, this stoneware has been made by hand for generations. You will find marks that show the pottery is entirely hand made even finger marks where the artist dipped the final glaze and stacked the piece for firing. The artists do not follow set patterns in decorating, so individuality shows on every piece. To capture the exact shading of the rich golden yellow background is very difficult. Please enjoy each piece as the work of art that it has become by the decoration and firing that brings it life. |
