Talavera Drawer / Cabinet Pulls |

Talavera stoneware was introduced to Mexico by Spanish guild artisans of the Colonial period, approximately 1700-1800. Called "majolica" in Spain, Mexican Talavera draws its name from the XVI century Spanish pottery center, Talavera de la Reina. While the intricate polychrome and more typical blue and white designs portray the old world legacy the new artisans also now combine the indigenous floral and celestial motifs. The individually handcrafted pieces as featured on these pages are classically Mexican. Every authentic piece of Talavera is made by hand in Puebla, Mexico and is 100% lead free. The detail is outstanding, and due to the kiln’s high firing temperature all pieces are crack and chip resistant.
All plates come with brass screws.

remember these are real hand crafted ceramic and if you over tighten you may
