Olde English Witch Balls
|
Strands of
glass within Kitras Witch Balls make it fascinating to look at while reviving a
custom that dates back to 18th century England. The strands capture evil
spirits, making this ball a fun conversation piece. Includes Story Card
Witch Balls have been popular since the 18th century. First found in
England, then transported to the New World in the 1700's. Their origin is
considered to be much older. For over 300 years hollow glass spheres have been
hung in windows thought to ward off spells, evil spirits and ill fortune. Legend
say that evil spirits are attracted to the beauty of the ball and when they
touch it, they are pulled inside and become trapped within the web, thereby
protecting the home from any harm. Now commonly known as "Witch Balls", use
these colorful glass balls to ward off your demons and their evil spells. Let
the magic of Kitras glass artists protect your home. Each is hand blown.
