Beginning as a small
antique shop in rural Boyds, Maryland way back in the disco and bell-bottom days
of 1979; The Boyds Collection Ltd.® has been making folks laugh and sigh for
over 25 years! Today, we're a small bunch of slightly off-center, fun folks
working hard (or is that hardly working?) not real far from where we began, near
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to bring you whimsically unique teddy bears,
floppy-eared hares and other friends in the true, old-world teddy making
tradition.
As Boyd's Bears grew, we recognized folks' need for affordable giftware items
and nifty stuff to decorate the home. Today the line has grown to include
everything from dressed to bean-filled bears and friends to figurines,
accessories, pottery, home decor and much more! With skilled hands and a bit of
magic, our master bear crafters bring each Boyds piece to life using only the
finest quality materials creating (if we do say so ourselves) fantastic gifts
for all occasions. From birthdays and special occasions, to home decorating and
those everyday moments when folks simply need a bear hug and a smile...the Folks
